iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max went on sale on 18 September 2026, from AED 5,099 and AED 5,499 in the UAE. The big changes are the variable-aperture camera, the A20 Pro chip, a smaller Dynamic Island and better battery life.
Apple's 2026 line-up is unusual. Only the Pro models and the foldable iPhone Duo launched in September. The standard iPhone 18 is reported to be moving to spring 2027, so if you search for 'iPhone 18' today, the phones you can actually buy are iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Release date and UAE price
Pre-orders opened on 12 September and both phones went on sale in the UAE on Friday 18 September 2026. In the US, iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, $100 more than iPhone 17 Pro did.

Known launch issues
Early owners reported a Face ID bug that could freeze and restart the phone, a colour artifact in some 2x photos, and a touchscreen freeze. Apple fixed all three in iOS 27.0.1. A small number of iPhone 18 Pro Max units on AT&T in the US lost cellular service; this doesn't affect UAE networks.
