Short answer
It's a reasonable upgrade if your battery has worn down or you want the new camera. If your 16 Pro still lasts the day, you can wait another year.

Check your battery first
Open Settings › Battery › Battery Health. Below about 85% maximum capacity, a 16 Pro will start to feel tired by evening — that's the best reason to upgrade now. A battery replacement is the cheaper alternative if you're otherwise happy.
