Is it more expensive than iPhone 17 Pro?
In the US, iPhone 18 Pro starts $100 higher than iPhone 17 Pro did at launch. The base model does start at 256GB, so you're not paying more for a 128GB phone.
The cheaper alternatives
- iPhone 17 (256GB) at around AED 3,399 is the best-value new iPhone right now.
- A certified used iPhone 17 Pro or 16 Pro gives you most of the Pro experience for much less.
- Waiting for the standard iPhone 18 (reported for spring 2027) is an option if you're not in a hurry.
How to pay less
- Trade in your current iPhone — the upgrade balance is what really matters.
- Choose storage for the next three years, not the next three months; upgrading storage later isn't possible.
- Consider last year's Pro model if the variable-aperture camera isn't important to you.
